King of kings and Lord of lords
Revelation 17:14, “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”
The
Word of God proclaims that Jesus Christ is the King of kinds, and the Lord
of lords.
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth”
There is NO name greater than JESUS. The names of Muhammad and Confucius are nothing compared to the precious name of Jesus. The names of Gandhi and Hare Krishna are nothing compared to the name of Jesus. Acts 4:10-12 declares that salvation is not found in any other name than the name of Jesus. If you don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Savior, then you will go to Hell in your sins to be punished forever.
Revelation 17:14 teaches that the wicked kings of this earth will all unite in one accord to follow the Antichrist, to make war against the Lamb. They will all be utterly destroyed!
I cringe every time I hear anyone take God's name in vain. It bother's me. I don't condemn anyone, for I am a guilty, dirty, rotten, hell-deserving sinner, just like anyone else; but God deserves so much better. The insignia of Hollywood actors is to curse in God's name. Jesus is the King above ALL kings, and the Lord above ALL lords. There is NO ONE higher in the universe. Amen!
If you are a born-again Christian, then we are on the winning side together. Jesus is going to return at the Second Coming and defeat the Beast and all his followers in a swift battle. The Lamb, God's Son, will reign triumphant from Jerusalem. Ironically, most Jews won't be there, they'll be in Hell. Most Jews today reject Jesus as the Messiah, the core belief (or should I say, unbelief) of Judaism, and are still looking for the Old Testament Messiah to come. In fact, those unbelieving Jews will embrace and worship the Antichrist thinking that he is God. Oh, foolish Israelites! Your Messiah came 2,000 years ago and paid our sin debt. Please receive Him or forever suffer the eternal vengeance of God's wrath in the Lake of Fire (2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9).
There is no king like King Jesus.
There is no lord like Lord Jesus.
There is no savior like the Savior.
The ultimate victory is the Lord's. Although the wicked may have control over this sinful world, God is keeping tabs on everything that everyone is doing. Jesus said in Matthew 12:36 that men shall give account to God for every idle word spoken. Certainly this includes using the Lord's name irreverently. The only mention of “reverence” in the Bible is concerning God in Psalm 89:7. God is the only reverend. The very God Who makes the thunderous storms and the powerful lightning is the same God Who keeps us breathing. Think about that when you're cursing Him.
