The Truth About God!
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." —John 14:1
God is a person, Who has the characteristics of personality (intellect, emotion, and will). God is not mere energy, nor blind force, nor the sum total of everything (pantheism). God is a Person who speaks and hears and blesses!
The Bible clearly states that God knows... "Thou has searched me and known me; thou knowest my downsitting and uprising" (Psalm 139:1-6). The Scriptures state that God feels (Nahum 1:2 and John 3:16 show the contrast between God's wrath and love). The Bible also says that God wills... "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification" (1st Thessalonians 4:3). Knowledge, emotion, and will are the traits of personality. God is not some cloudy, hazy, indefinite, blindly operating, omnipotent Force. God is a living, loving Person who speaks and hears and blesses.
Jesus Christ is almighty God, the Godhead Who came in the flesh (1st Timothy 3:16, King James Bible).
"The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, Makest Thyself God." —John 10:33
"...Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."
—Colossians 2:8-9Jesus Christ is ALMIGHTY GOD!!! This is the primary TRUTH concerning God. Every false religion in the world (one way or another) distorts the image of Christ's deity (that He is God). The 1611 King James Bible proclaims loud and clear the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
